About Grace
I grew up in Louisiana, where bold Cajun flavors are everywhere and eating is practically a sport. Now imagine me walking into every restaurant asking, ‘Is this dairy-free, gluten-free, sugar-free?’ Exhausting doesn’t even begin to cover it
Because of my allergies, I cooked most of my meals in my college dorm. What began as necessity quickly became something I genuinely loved. I started experimenting, plating each meal with intention, and sharing it on social media—a story open to almost everyone I knew, and many I didn’t.
Soon, it caught on. What started as something playful evolved into a small movement. Friends and classmates began plating their own meals and sharing them too. It became a ritual—creative, communal, and rooted in mindfulness. Food was no longer just fuel or restriction; it was expression and connection.
This was the beginning of my evolution into health and wellness—not simply as a personal practice, but as a shared experience. Before long, others were inspired to take control of their own health, drawn to the discipline and intention behind clean eating. That’s when I realized my purpose wasn’t just to nourish myself, but to empower others to push boundaries and reclaim ownership of their well-being.
After graduating from Louisiana State University, I pursued graduate studies in New York at New York University, further deepening my understanding of nutrition and wellness.
Now based in New York, I navigate the health and wellness space at its most dynamic intersection—where science, culture, and lifestyle meet. Working within fertility nutrition and gastroenterology, I’ve gained a clear understanding that true wellness is holistic. It’s not just about what’s on your plate, but how you reclaim your energy, balance your body, and feel renewed from within. Even at 22, I am inspired to make a meaningful impact and help others take ownership of their health in ways that feel empowering and sustainable.
Traveling extensively has shaped the meals I create today, and living in Spain over the summer particularly deepened my understanding of food, how the Mediterranean diet is practiced, and why it is considered one of the most sustainable diets for longevity, physical health, and mental well-being. Eating well is no longer a discipline—it’s a rhythm I genuinely enjoy. My approach blends science-backed guidance with real-life practicality: elevated yet approachable recipes, grounded nutrition advice, and habits that are sustainable and joyful.
The Wellness Edit is my wellness recipe and lifestyle platform—a space where I translate my personal journey, professional expertise, and love of food into actionable guidance and inspiration for others.
